I would like to take this opportunity to thank you so much for your continuous support. Because of your support, I am able to establish the Himalayan Family Healthcare Project. The Himalayan Family Healthcare Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is to provide quality, community-driven, primary healthcare services to improve the health status of children and their families in Nepal who are poor and suffering as I once was.

I am going to Nepal on August 24, 2010 with two other Board members (Board Vice Chair, Dr. Melissa Marshall and Board Secretary Mr. Randall Siefert) to conduct the community health needs assessment in Manang and the surrounding region. I believe a community health needs assessment is essential to determine the significance of health needs in a community before we attempt to build a community-based hospital in Manang, Nepal.

As I venture on this journey to Nepal, I shall remember the kindness of your heart and your continuous support to complete my dream of helping women, children and their families to improve their health status.  Again, I am very grateful for your continuous support, and I would like express my sincere thanks to you from the deepest part of my heart.
